A city apartment building that respects the grain of its neighbourhood, talks to the street and draws light deep inside.
Shops open to the neighbourhood at ground level, with apartments of varying sizes above. The rhythm of timber and metal on the façade reinterprets the scale of the surrounding historic apartment blocks in a contemporary language.
A relationship with the street
The ground floor carries the life of the street into the building through pedestrian-facing shopfronts and a recessed entrance canopy.
Light and material
Warm timber surfaces, pale floors and generous glazing create calm, bright interiors in every apartment.
A shared roof terrace
Despite the small plot, the roof holds a terrace shared by all residents.
